Tacoma Musical Playhouse is in the sixth season of The Tacoma Children's Musical Theater, promising to be more colorful and imaginative than ever before. Presented by TMP's regular adult performers, these fully-staged musicals based on classic children's literature are a great reason to make a family date and enjoy a trip to the theater!

The TCMT 2011-12 season opens October 29th with the captivatingly fun and seriously pink musical, Pinkalicious. Based on the children's books of the same name by Elizabeth and Victoria Kann, Pinkalicious helps kids to understand the power of self-control and the importance of moderation. When Pinkalicious (played by TMP's Megan Fox) eats so many pink cupcakes that her hair turns pink, she's absolutely thrilled. It's a dream come true for the little lover of all-things-pink! But when she eats another, her hue goes too far and her whole body turns pink! With the help of her brother Peter, her best friend Alison, and a plateful of green vegetables, Pink finds a way out of this pink predicament and recognizes that there is such a thing as "too much of a good thing."

Directed by TMP's Chris Serface, Pinkalicious performs Saturdays at 2pm and 5pm, and Sundays at 2 pm from October 29-November 6, 2011. Performances take place at Tacoma Musical Playhouse, 7116 6th Avenue in Tacoma. All seating for TMP Mainstage and TCMT productions is reserved, so advance purchase is strongly recommended. Single ticket prices range from $12-$17. Group rate of $10 per ticket is available for groups of 10 or more. For tickets or more information, please visit www.tmp.org or call the TMP Box Office at 253-565-6867.
