Join Bainbridge Performing Arts for the premiere performance of TOPIA, an original show devised by a group of Bainbridge teens: the Paper Walls Theater Company. For the last six months, Paper Walls has been collaborating to create original characters, improvise scenes, and write a play. The production is the outcome of "devised theatre" - a form of theatre where the script originates not from a writer or writers, but from collaborative, usually improvisatory work by a group of people. TOPIA takes place in an alternate, yet all too familiar universe where the pressure to fit in is at an all-time high.

Advised by Liz Ellis and directed by Eli Pitasky and Madelaine Figueroa, TOPIA features Miranda Petersen, Dylan Lehotsky, Kit Patterson, Catherine MacLeod, and Rose Marie Strasen.

See TOPIA Friday and Saturday, July 12 and 13 at 7:30 p.m. at BPA, 200 Madison Avenue North, Bainbridge Island. A $5 suggested donation will benefit BPA Theatre School.

BPA is supported, in part, by the Bainbridge Community Foundation and One Call for All.
