Seattle's premiere storytelling organization, A Guide to Visitors, presents a curated selection of real life stories. This month AGTV's theme is "The End of the Tunnel - Stories of Dark Times." Seattle based Playwright and Entertainer Kimball Allen shares the stage with other Seattle storytellers as he tells his story of overcoming adversity through perseverance at Theatre Off Jackson, tonight, April 21 at 7:30 PM.

A Guide To Visitors is the brainchild of Dave Snyder and Jeannie Yandel who met as producers for the once nationally syndicated Rewind from National Public Radio. One night over drinks, Dave told Jeannie about this great television show he saw on some obscure digital cable channel - where people got up on stage and told their own personal stories. No scripts, no actors, no costume design or dramaturgy. Just straight-up, first person narrative. It was a show put on by an NYC outfit called The Moth.

Kimball Allen is a Best-selling Off-Broadway playwright. He is the Host of Triple Threat, a variety talk show, at the illustrious Triple Door in downtown Seattle. Allen has been heard as a featured guest on radio and podcast shows from New York City to Honolulu, and filmed with such networks as Comedy Central and Amazon Studios. He has written for several syndicated publications. He is a member of the prestigious Dramatist Guild of America; a Nominator for The Gregory Awards presented by Theatre Puget Sound.

"The End of the Tunnel" runs through Tuesday April 21 at Theatre Off Jackson, 409 7th Ave. S, Seattle, WA 98104. For info or tickets visit http://www.agtv.org/.
