Touted as "the hottest artist on the classical music planet" by the New York Times, classical piano phenom Lang Lang returns to the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall stage on Thursday, February 23 at 8PM.

Inspiring millions with his open-hearted, emotive playing, the brilliant musician has played sold-out recitals and concerts in every major city in the world. Lang Lang has partnered with some of the world's greatest artists and has also had some surprising collaborations such as his dramatic performance with Metallica at the 2014 Grammys.

In 2009 Time Magazine included Lang Lang in their "Time 100", the magazine's annual list of the 100 Most Influential People in the World. It is not only Lang Lang's breathtaking talent that makes him influential, his philanthropy has gained him much attention over the years. With a vision to educate, inspire and motivate the next generation of classical-music lovers and performers he launched the Lang Lang International Music Foundation, with goals including championing music education at the forefront of technology. The Financial Times described Lang Lang as "evangelical in his efforts to spread the popularity of classical music."

With a resume that reads like a best seller, full of achievements, honors and a whole host of awards, Lang Lang's performance truly is a must-see!
