Transcendence Theatre Company (TTC), producing company of the award-winning Broadway Under the Stars concerts in Sonoma's Jack London State Park, introduces the Transcendence Artist Series, featuring Tony winner Sutton Foster.

The Transcendence Artist Series, a collection of one-night only concerts with individual artists in a variety of settings throughout Northern California's wine country, will be in addition to TTC's previously announced lineup of summer concerts beginning June 28, featuring professional Broadway and Hollywood performers in the majestic open-air winery ruins in Sonoma's Jack London State Historic Park.

Two-time Tony Award-winning Broadway singer, actor and dancer Sutton Foster, along with her musical director and accompanist Michael Rafter, will headline the series.

Foster, best known for her Tony Award-winning performances in Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie on Broadway, also originated leading roles in The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women, Young Frankenstein and Shrek the Musical, and is currently starring in ABC family's new series Bunheads.

Foster's performance on August 1 will be one of four concerts in the Transcendence Artist Series.

The remaining performances will include singer/songwriter and YouTube sensation, Carrie Manolakos (also appeared in Mamma Mia on Broadway); world-champion tap dancer and Celtic fiddlerStephanie Cadman and her trio; and Old at Heart, performed by TTC founding member Leah Sprecher, following two sold-out runs at the Los Angeles Groundlings Theater.

Foster and Cadman will perform at the winery ruins in Jack London State Park where Broadway Under the Stars is presented, and the remaining concerts will take place in various intimate settings throughout Wine Country, including the Benziger Family Winery wine cave and barn.

Says Artistic Director Amy Miller, "The word 'Transcendence' means excelling, surpassing, or going beyond the usual limits. We are so thrilled to share with our audiences the remarkable talents of these brilliant artists whose work goes beyond the usual limits to inspire us all to live life to the fullest."

The performances will run alongside the Broadway Under the Stars series in July and August, 2013.

Tickets range from $29-$150. Group tickets are available at a special discount for individuals and organizations. Contact the box office for more details.
