Celebrations Arts to Present TOMMY J & SALLY, 11/8-12/22
Anthony M. Person and Nicole DeCroix.

Celebration Arts will present Tommy J & Sally, a drama by Mark Medoff, opening November 8, 2013 and playing Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. through December 22, 2013. Celebration Arts Theatre is located at 4469 D Street, Sacramento, Calif.

Is TJ who he says he is? Is Sally who she says she is? Or is each who the other says the other is? A black man invades a white woman's life claiming she is someone she denies being. The results are a personal conflagration that changes both the intruder and the intruded upon. It's a modern twist on Sally Hemings and Thomas Jefferson that unleashes a tsunami of anger and emotions leading to cleansing.

Tickets: $15 general, $13 students and seniors. On Thursday night, all seats are $8. Tickets online at mycommunityevents.com. Call (916) 455-2787 for reservations and information.
