Manila, Philippines--THE VOICE of the Philippines Season One coaches Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo, apl.de.ap, and Bamboo Manalac are back for the reality singing competition's highly anticipated second season, whose premiere episode, which leads up to the contest's trademark blind auditions, will air Sunday, October 26, on ABS CBN, one the Philippines' major commercial television networks.

To induce more excitement among fans, ABS CBN has just released a teaser trailer, inspired by the HBO fantasy series GAME OF THRONES, which depicts the coaches--in fighting shape--gearing up for what could become their next big battle for the best vocalists who have made it to this season's blind auditions.

Created by Dutch television producer John de Mol, THE VOICE of the Philippines, same as the rest of THE VOICE franchises across more than 20 countries, has been structured with four various competition stages: (1) producers' auditions, (2) blind auditions, (3) battle and knockout rounds, and (4) live shows.

THE VOICE stands unique from other singing competitions such as "American Idol" and "X Factor" because of the former's round of blind auditions, where the coaches get to choose their team members based solely on the contestants' vocal skills.

THE VOICE of the Philippines Season One was first broadcast June 15, 2013. Resorts World Manila's Draybers band vocalist Mitoy Yonting, in his early 40s, and coached by Salonga, was declared winner.
