Today, October 6th, Broadway artists Jonathan Bernstein (Chicago, The Iceman Cometh), Nick Blaemire (Cry-Baby, Glory Days, Godspell), and Susan Misner (Dream, How to Succeed..., Guys and Dolls, A Funny Thing Happened...) team up to teach a full day of musical theater training in The Philadelphia Series, presented by The Performing Arts Project.

Broadway veteran Susan Misner is currently starring on the hit television drama The Americans opposite Keri Russell on the FX network and this past spring, she appeared as a recurring character on Nashville on ABC. Susan explains why she manages to find the time to teach during her hectic filming schedule: "I have a profound love of teaching," says Misner. "I'm obsessed with teaching people to move from the truth of who they are; whether that's in dance, acting or singing. Undoing the paralysis of perfectionism and allowing people to realize that their messy, honest, imperfect selves are exactly where they need to begin is my ultimate goal - for them and me!"

The day-long intensive will be held at Institute of Dance Artistry (IDA) in Fort Washington, PA, for ages 14-24 years old and includes classes in: lyric interpretation - how to let the lyric inform character development; movement and dance as tied to an innate understanding of the character and lyric; song interpretation - marrying music and words with a character.
