Broadway veteran JohAnna Day, who appeared in Proof (Tony Nom) and August: Osage County, will star as Margie Walsh in the Penn State Centre Stage production of David Lindsay Abaire's Good People, which begins performances on June 12th in State College, Pennsylvania.

Joining Day are R. Ward Duffy (Old Globe's Good People) as her ex-boyfriend Mike, and Tony nominee (Our Country's Good) Amelia Campbell as Jean. Rounding out the cast are Joy Hooper, Jane Ridley and Kevin Toniazzo- Naughton.

Directed by the award winning Robert W. Schneider, Good People is set in South Boston, where this month's paycheck covers last month's bills, bingo is a night on the town, and sharp-tongued single-mom Margie Walsh has just been let go from yet another job. Scrambling to make ends meet, she looks up an old flame, hoping he'll help her make a fresh start in this humor-filled drama from Pulitzer Prize winner David Lindsay-Abaire about how twists of fate determine our path.
