Alyx left a successful career as a college engineering instructor for a life of card tricks and whimsy. After cutting her teeth as a travelling street performer, performing open-air magic shows at popular tourist destinations, she moved to indoor theaters. And yes, her tan was greatly at risk. She was featured on the cover of Vanish International Magic Magazine with the feature story.

In addition to performing at the Smoke and Mirrors Theater, Chicago Magic Lounge, and the Boston Magic Lab, she's also a frequent guest Co-Star of DC's number-one-rated comedy show, The Magic Duel. In 2022 she was invited to perform for her colleagues at the 100th Anniversary International Brotherhood of Magicians Convention.
