Love is in the air at Crown this Valentine's Day, as the home of Perth's finest restaurants and intimate cocktail bars, unveils an array of menus and offers designed to take the stress out of one of the most anticipated days of the romantic calendar - and put the romance back in.

For those searching for the ultimate love recipe on Valentine's Day - look no further than Bistro Guillaume - who will bring an evening of French bistro charm to life reminiscent of the city of love, Paris.

According to Bistro Guillaume's Chef de Cuisine Robert Murphy, for diners wanting to increase romance levels an extra notch, sharing plates are the way to go to heighten the intimacy over the table this Valentine's Day.

Start the night with mouth-watering prawns, citrus aioli, watermelon and goats cheese stuffed zucchini flower. According to Murphy, watermelon is a less known but proven aphrodisiac which contains the phytonutrient citrulline.

For a main, Murphy recommends the chateaubriand with green peppercorn sauce and crispy kipfler potatoes, prepared with qualiTy Western Australian produce and specially designed for two.

He suggests following this up with the ultimate aphrodisiac for desert - chocolate.

"French cuisine is not only about the food you eat, it's a sensory experience too, sharing a meal is also very romantic," he says. "It's about the whole experience."

If French cuisine isn't your thing - the fine dining options continue with options to suit everyone. From sumptuous Chinese dishes at Silks, or authentic Italian cuisine at Modo Mio.

If you're feeling undecided on the best cuisine to woo your other half, take your taste buds on a culinary journey at the extensive buffet at Atrium which includes superb seafood, delicious mains and an impressive dessert bar. The intimate and contemporary surrounds of Nobu is also the ideal place for a delicious Teppanyaki or Omakase menu.

And if food isn't the way to your loved ones heart, indulge in our Couples Spa package at the sumptuous Crown Spa located within Crown Towers Perth - which includes 60 minute massages in the Couples Suite, glass of sparkling wine, chocolates from Koko Black, a complimentary Subtle Energies gift, valet parking and Aqua Retreat access.
