Two-time Academy Award nominee Bradley Cooper, Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Patricia Clarkson, and Alessandro Nivola will soon return to Broadway in Bernard Pomerance's Tony Award-winning classic The Elephant Man, directed by six-time Tony Award nominee Scott Ellis. The production begins performances on Friday, November 7, 2014 and opens on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Broadway's Booth Theatre (222 West 45th Street, NYC). (Roger Rees, previously announced in the role, is no longer available.) The Band Wagon cast stars Tony Award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell, seven-time Emmy Award winner Tracey Ullman, Academy Award nominee Michael McKean, Tony Award nominee Laura Osnes, Tony Award nominee Michael Berresse and Don Stephenson. On the heels of winning two Joseph Jefferson "Jeff" Awards (Best Original Music in a Play and Best Sound Design) in Chicago, and a critically acclaimed successful run of The Old Man and The Old Moon at the New Victory Theater in NYC, PigPen Theatre Co. will continue their 2014 season by taking the celebrated signature play to Boston in partnership with ArtsEmerson: The World On Stage at the Emerson College/Paramount Center (November 19-23). The limited tour, which originated at Williamstown Theatre Festival in August, and ran at the New Victory Theater from September 26 - October 13, 2014, will be the last chance to see The Old Man and The Old Moon performed by the original company.
