Just last night, Roundabout Theatre Company honored the great Chit Rivera at its 2022 Gala 'Paint the Town' at the Ziegfield Ballroom in New York City. The evening celebrated Ms. Rivera's contribution to the theater and include the presentation of The Jason Robards Award for Excellence in Theatre.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director/CEO) has just announced updates to the next season’s Fall/Winter programming Off-Broadway. The Wanderers, by Anna Ziegler, directed by Barry Edelstein will start performances on January 26, 2023 at the Laura Pels Theater in the Harold & Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street). This production was originally scheduled for 2020 and postponed due to the shutdown.

Roundabout has announced Tony Award-winning director Kenny Leon will join Roundabout’s artistic leadership team as Senior Resident Director in January 2021. In his new role, Leon will participate in the theatre's selection of plays and musicals - both seasonal onstage productions and the dozens of workshops & readings produced annually.

Roundabout Theatre Company and Arts for All Abilities Consortium have announced a virtual theatre festival dedicated to the voices of artists with disabilities. The festival will be a space for artists to develop and share new theatre works, created and hosted by Roundabout Theatre Company and with the participation of four partner organizations.

On deck is Jeanine Tesori and Tony Kushner’s CAROLINE, OR CHANGE starring Sharon D Clarke, directed by Michael Longhurst, and choreographed by Ann Yee at Studio 54. After joining Roundabout in 2017 as a Directing Fellow, Haymon became an Associate Artist and more recently, has spent time creating and overseeing Roundabouta??s Directors Group, and developing Dave Harrisa?? new play Exception to the Rule.
