The Capital Stage Board of Directors have approved a new visionary Strategic Plan, that was developed with one of the country’s leading arts consultants, Michael Kaiser, Chairman of the DeVos Institute of Arts Managementand President Emeritus of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC.

Westport Country Playhouse will present a Script in Hand playreading of the comedic mystery, “Mrs. Christie,” a fictional account of the unsolved 1926 disappearance of Agatha Christie, one of the most-read mystery writers, written by Heidi Armbruster and directed by Mark Shanahan, on Monday, May 13, at 7 p.m.
Joe Tracz to Serve as Writer and Co-Showrunner on ONE PIECE

Joe Tracz, writer of Be More Chill and The Lightning Thief musical, has joined the second season of the Netflix series One Piece. Tracz will be working with Matt Owens, co-showrunner and writer of Season 1, as writer, executive producer and co-showrunner. Tracz previously worked with Netflix as a writer and producer on Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events and Dash & Lily. Most recently, Tracz worked as a writer for the Disney+ adaptation of Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
