Goodspeed Musicals will kick off its first full season of musicals since 2019 with the spring production of Kander and Ebb’s dazzling and daring classic, Cabaret. The Kit Kat Klub comes alive for the first time on the Goodspeed stage from May 13 – July 3 at The Goodspeed in East Haddam, Conn.

Crystal Kellogg (Broadway's Finding Neverland), Nathaniel Hackmann (Broadway's Les Misérables) and Terra C. MacLeod (Broadway's Chicago and The Lizzy Maguire Movie) head Tuacahn Amphitheatre's 2021 season. For the 25th anniversary season, Tuacahn is producing their biggest season ever with popular productions Disney's Beauty and the Beast and Annie.

Performers included Milly Shapiro (Hereditary, Matilda), Catherine Brunell (Something Rotten, Les Miserables), Mallory Bechtel (Hereditary, Dear Evan Hansen), Kimberly Marable(Hadestown), Analise Scarpaci (A Christmas Story, Matilda), Laurissa 'Lala' Romain(South Pacific), and emcee for the evening, Terra C MacLeod (Chicago).

THE GREEN ROOM 42 a?" Broadway's newest intimate concert venue a?" will present a special evening of entertainment for Sekhmet Sisterhood's Night of Broadway on Sunday, September 8 at 7:00 PM. Following the announcement of several performers including Milly Shapiro (Hereditary, Matilda), Catherine Brunell (Something Rotten, Les Miserables), and Mallory Bechtel (Hereditary, Dear Evan Hansen). the line up just keeps growing! Joining this already power-packed cast includes Kimberly Marable (Hadestown), Analise Scarpaci (A Christmas Story, Matilda), Laurissa a?oeLalaa?? Romain (South Pacific), and emcee for the evening, Terra C MacLeod (Chicago). They will raise money for the newly established 501c3 non-profit organization Sekhmet Sisterhood, devoted to empowering women to make a difference and change the world by banding together, sharing experiences and supporting each other. These powerful Broadway stars will sing songs that take you through the evolution of sisterhood over the years, while raising money for an important cause. Musical Direction by Laura Bergquist. Mamma Mia follows the story of 20-year-old Sophie on a quest to determine who her father is by inviting her mother Donna's three paramours (Sam, Harry, and Bill) from 20 years go to her Greek Island wedding. In Donna's hay-day she had a girl group, Donna and the Dynamos, with her friends Lisa and Tanya who also return to the island for the wedding.

I hold each theatre to its own sliding scale of standards. As far as fare goes in Dallas/Ft. Worth, Broadway tours should be in the top echelon. However, on opening night December 18th at the AT&T Performing Arts Center in the auspicious Winspear Opera House, the touring troupe of Chicago failed to find its legs.
