Hamilton opened its West End production last night and fans are already buzzing about whether or not the show's creator and original star, Lin-Manuel Miranda, plans to join the cast. According to BBC, Miranda said that he would like to come back to the role but it won't be until 2019 at the earliest.

HAMILTON opens tonight, 21 December 2017, on the West End. The West End cast comprises Christine Allado (Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds), Rachelle Ann Go (Eliza Hamilton), Tarinn Callender (Hercules Mulligan/James Madison), Michael Jibson (King George), Rachel John (Angelica Schuyler), Jason Pennycooke (Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson), Cleve September (John Laurens/Philip Hamilton), Giles Terera (Aaron Burr), Obioma Ugoala (George Washington) and Jamael Westman (Alexander Hamilton). At certain performances, the role of Alexander Hamilton will be played by Ash Hunter.

HAMILTON officially opens tonight at the Victoria Palace Theatre, and their neighbors in Oz reached out over Twitter to welcome the company to town. Watch their well-wishes below!

HAMILTON re-opens the newly rebuilt and restored Victoria Palace Theatre with previews beginning tonight (6 December 2017) with the official opening night taking place on 21 December 2017. HAMILTON is currently booking to 30 June 2018.

Hamilton West End has tweeted a new video from the company's first day of rehearsal. The video features the cast and crew discussing their excitement, complete with footage from inside the rehearsal room.

London's Hamilton has found its ten-dollar founding father. The Daily Mail writes that Jamael Westman will take on the title role originated by Lin-Manuel Miranda on Broadway.

It has been reported that Rachelle Ann Go (Eliza Hamilton), Rachel John (Angelica Schuyler), Tarrinn Callendar (Hercules Mulligan/James Madison), Giles Terera (Aaron Burr), Obioma Ugoala (George Washington), Cleve September (John Laurens/Philip Hamilton), and Jason Pennycooke (Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson) have signed on for the West End production of Lin-Manuel Miranda's 'Hamilton'.
