The REP, Point Park University's professional theatre company, closes its 2014-2015 season with the world premiere of Pittsburgh playwright Anthony McKay's entertaining family drama, Endless Lawns. Endless Lawns opens tonight, March 27, and runs through April 12, in the Studio Theatre at the Pittsburgh Playhouse, 222 Craft Ave. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!
SMTC to Present HECTOR CORIS: OUR OWN KIND OF UNIVERSE, 4/6

One of fastest-growing theater companies in the Valley is kicking off a new Cabaret Series featuring multi-award winning vocalist HECTOR CORIS's new solo show Our Own Kind of Universe. The show will be musical directed by Curtis Moeller with a special appearance by Marina Blue Jarrette. The one-night-only performance will take place on Monday, April 6th at 7:30PM at Tempe Center for the Arts (Studio Theatre), 700 W. Rio Salado Parkway, Tempe, AZ 85281. Tickets are $20. Cocktail table seating will be available.

The New Group has announced complete casting for the world premiere production of The Spoils, a new play written by and featuring Jesse Eisenberg, directed by Scott Elliott. This production will feature Erin Darke, Annapurna Sriram and Michael Zegen, and as previously announced, Jesse Eisenberg and Kunal Nayyar.
Florida Studio Theatre to Host Spring Ovation Luncheon, 4/1

Florida Studio Theatre will be hosting the Spring Ovation Luncheon this April 1 at 11:30am in the Court Cabaret. The event will feature an opening reception followed by lunch in the Court Cabaret of the Hegner Theatre Wing. The luncheon will include FST entertainment and the presentation of FST's highest honor, "The Jon Spelman Award" will be given to this year's recipient, Betty and Dick Hegner. An invitation only event, the Court Cabaret will be filled with honored guests and supporters of the theatre.
Mark Rylance to Star in West End Transfer of FARINELLI AND THE KING

Shakespeare's Globe and Sonia Friedman Productions are delighted to announce the West End transfer of Claire van Kampen's critically-acclaimed new play Farinelli and the King, directed by John Dove, designed by Jonathan Fensom and starring Mark Rylance (Wolf Hall, Jerusalem, Richard III, Twelfth Night), as King Philippe V of Spain. Sam Crane will once again play the acting role of Farinelli, while the singing role will be reprised by opera star, Iestyn Davies and shared withRupert Enticknap. The rest of the cast will also transfer with Huss Garbiya playing Doctor Jose Cervi, Melody Grove playing Isabella Farnese, Colin Hurley as Metastasio and Edward Peel as De la Cuadra.
