Memorial Hermann Broadway at the Hobby Center has announced the national tour of Come From Away, a Broadway musical about the true story of the small town that welcomed the world, will make its Houston debut at the Hobby Center for a limited engagement March 3 - 8, 2020. Come From Away tickets will go on sale Friday, November 15 at 10 AM.

The Martha Graham Dance Company's acclaimed second company will perform Martha Graham's rarely seen The Owl and the Pussycat on Saturday, December 7, at 3pm and 7pm.

Devon Carney, Artistic Director of Kansas City Ballet, today announced the Company's continued intention to commit to more culturally appropriate representations of Asians in presentations of The Nutcracker. Boston Ballet II (BBII) will perform at Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center in Stowe, Vermont on Saturday, November 2 at 7:00 pm.  The program will feature three works by Boston Ballet-based choreographers, a 19th century work by Arthur Saint-Leon, composer Amilcare Ponchielli's Dance of the Hours, a romantic duet by Tony Award-winning choreographer Christopher Wheeldon, and excerpts from Mikko Nissinen's The Nutcracker.

In 1879, a door slam was heard around the world when Henrik Ibsen's 'A Doll's House' concluded for the first time. While the play is known for its ending, Iowa Stage is using it to open two new beginning for them, the beginning of a new season, and the beginning of a new location. I feel that this added to the buzz and excitement for 'A Doll's House,' and the upcoming 'A Doll's House: Part 2' being done in repertoire. The combination of a new performance space and a new season made this a dazzling evening of theatre.
