Rita Moreno has been confirmed to play Vin Diesel's grandmother in the upcoming Fast X film, the tenth installment in the Fast & Furious franchise. After campaigning for Moreno to join the film last summer, Diesel announced that the casting was official in a new video posted to his Instagram.

The nominees include Diana the Musical, with Jeanna de Waal, Roe Hartrampf, Erin Davie, Judy Kaye, Gareth Keegan, Christopher Ashley, Joe DiPierto, and David Bryan. It was announced today that International Film Trust (IFT) has sold major territories for the Scott Eastwood-starring action thriller DANGEROUS, including the U.S. and U.K. to Lionsgate, with Minds Eye Entertainment selling Canada to Lionsgate.  

The ensemble comedy will star Charlie Day, Jenny Slate, Gina Rodriguez, Scott Eastwood, Manny Jacinto and Clark Backo.

THE CHAINSAW ARTIST, a documentary following world-renowned chainsaw-carving sculptor Stacy Poitras and his unconventional craft, will complete principal photography this week.  The Positive Street production, directed by Marco Bottiglieri, includes Poitras' father-in-law Clint Eastwood, brother-in-law Scott Eastwood, wife Alison Eastwood, Sam Elliott, Titus Welliver, and more.  

According to Deadline, Will Smith is confirmed to not be returning for Warner Bros. SUICIDE SQUAD 2. He portrayed the role of Deadshoot in the first installment. The sequel is set to be directed by James Gunn, and released in 2021. No other additional casting has been confirmed at the moment. Charles Roven and Peter Safran are producing.

Caleb Landry Jones has joined the cast of 'The Forgiven,' according to Variety. Jones will co-star alongside Ralph Fiennes, Rebecca Hall, and Mark Strong.

PACIFIC RIM UPRISING, the upcoming sequel of PACIFIC RIM from Legendary and Universal, stars John Boyega and hits theaters on March 23rd. Directed by Guillermo del Toro, the film is set in the near future with Earth at war with the Kaiju, monsters that emerged from an inter-dimensional portal at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean. The original film earned $411 million at the global box office.
