The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles (BAFTA Los Angeles) is pleased to announce that British actor, writer and showrunner Phoebe Waller-Bridge will receive the Britannia Award for British Artist of the Year. She joins previously announced honorees Jane Fonda, who will receive the Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film Presented by Cunard, Jackie Chan, who will receive the Albert R. Broccoli Britannia Award for Worldwide Contribution to Entertainment, and Steve Coogan, who will receive the Charlie Chaplin Britannia Award for Excellence in Comedy Presented by Jaguar Land Rover.

 BBC AMERICA's smash hit thriller Killing Eve has begun production on its third season. The series, nominated for nine 2019 Emmy® Awards including Outstanding Drama Series, is welcoming Dame Harriet Walter (Succession, The Crown) and Danny Sapani (Harlots, The Crown) to the cast. Killing Eve, produced by Sid Gentle Films Ltd., left off with an explosive cliffhanger at the end of season two, as Carolyn (Emmy® nominee Fiona Shaw) seemingly betrayed Eve (Emmy® nominee Sandra Oh) before Villanelle (Emmy® nominee Jodie Comer) shot Eve, leaving her for dead in Rome.

BBC AMERICA is gearing up for a Wild Summer, kicking off Saturday, June 29 with Wild Life Week – a full week of the network's celebrated natural history programming, including the Emmy®-winning Planet Earth II and Blue Planet II, as well as the premiere of Enchanted Kingdom, narrated by Idris Elba, closing out the week on Saturday, July 6 at 9pm/8c. IFC Center today announced an impressive and wide-ranging lineup for the third annual Split Screens Festival (www.splitscreensfestival.com) taking place Wednesday, May 29 through Monday, June 3, 2019, at the IFC Center in New York City. The festival consists of special events offering a variety of looks at history, identity and the mystery of existence itself, including panels on series that explore dystopian realities and alternate timelines, and screenings that transport us into any number of time periods and places, be it a late-1800s South Dakota town or the height of 1980s ballroom culture in New York City.

The Peabody Board of Jurors revealed today nine Entertainment winners and a Children's winner for programs released in 2018. The honorees include a children's superhero saga focused on empathy; darkly comic immersions into the male and female killer mind; welcomed reformulations and expansions of standup comedy and political entertainment shows; and expansive creativity in a show that might best be described as Afro-surrealism meets Parliament Funkadelic.

The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation (AWMF) announced the winners of the 44th annual Gracie Awards to take place May 21 at the Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles. The event will recognize such esteemed honorees as Sandra Oh, Tisha Thompson, Rachel Maddow, Connie Britton, Elizabeth Perkins, Patricia Arquette, Leah Remini, Robin Roberts, Laura Lynch, Rachel Bloom, Angela Yee, Maura Tierney, Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie, along with some of the most talented women in television, radio and digital media. BBC has acquired the third series of the award-winning spy thriller Killing Eve.

BBC AMERICA has renewed the critically-acclaimed series Killing Eve for a third season. Starring Sandra Oh, Jodie Comer and Fiona Shaw, the award-winning original series is produced by Sid Gentle Films Ltd. for BBC AMERICA.

Saturday night, Tame Impala appeared on Saturday Night Live as the musical guest with Sandra Oh hosting. The band performed the recently released 'Patience,' as well as a new song 'Borderline.' The release of 'Patience' marked their first new music since his GRAMMY nominated, RIAA Gold-Certified 2015 release, Currents. Parker will headline this year's Coachella Valley Arts and Music Festival. Watch 'Patience' Below! ?

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has today announced the nominations for the 2019 Virgin Media British Academy Television Awards and British Academy Television Craft Awards. These awards reward the very best in television craft and television programmes broadcast in the UK in 2018. The Virgin Media British Academy Television Awards ceremony will be held at the Royal Festival Hall on Sunday 12 May with the British Academy Television Craft Awards taking place two weeks earlier on Sunday 28 April at The Brewery, London.

BBC AMERICA's Killing Eve will return for its highly-anticipated second season on Sunday, April 7th at 8pm/7c, the network announced today. Sandra Ohand Jodie Comer reprise their critically-acclaimed performances as Eve (Oh), an MI6 operative, and psychopath assassin Villanelle (Comer) in this story of two women, bound by a mutual obsession and one brutal act. Beginning just after the end of the final episode of season one, Villanelle has disappeared, and Eve is left reeling, having no idea if the woman she stabbed is alive or dead. With both of them in deep trouble, Eve has to find Villanelle before someone else does...but unfortunately, she's not the only person looking for her. 

Tame Impala (Kevin Parker) has released 'Patience,' the first new music since his GRAMMY nominated, RIAA Gold-Certified 2015 release, Currents. The new track, is out today on Interscope Records.
