BBC Acquires Third Season of KILLING EVE

BBC has acquired the third series of the award-winning spy thriller Killing Eve.

Series one made its UK debut on BBC One and as a boxset on BBC iPlayer last year and series two will be airing soon. KILLING EVE has become a massive hit with BBC audiences with over 46 million requests for the series on BBC iPlayer so far.

Charlotte Moore, BBC Director of Content, says: "It's fantastic news that there will be a third series of this award winning hit drama and we're delighted UK audiences will be able to see KILLING EVE exclusively on the BBC. In the mean-time Villanelle and Eve will be returning to BBC One and BBC iPlayer for a second series soon."

Starring Sandra Oh, Jodie Comer and Fiona Shaw, the award-winning original series is produced by Sid Gentle Films Ltd. for BBC America.

Based on the Codename Villanelle novellas by Luke Jennings, the third season will be executive produced by Sally Woodward Gentle, Lee Morris, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Gina Mingacci, Damon Thomas and Sandra Oh. Jeff Melvoin (Designated Survivor, Alias) also joins the team as executive producer. The series is distributed by Endeavor Content.
