Pianist, singer and songwriter Bruce Hornsby's summer tour kicks off tomorrow, June 18 inCharleston, SC. The run of dates includes additional stops in Denver, Charlotte,Asheville, Charlottesville and Atlanta that will feature a collaborative performance with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra conducted by Music's Rob Moose.

CMA Fest has announced additional performances and appearances at Xfinity Fan Fair X, CMA Fest's Ultimate Country Music Fan Experience, where fans get up close and personal with their favorite artists. Xfinity Fan Fair X returns to Music City Center for action-packed entertainment daily from 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM Thursday, June 6 through Sunday, June 9, featuring three stages with artist panels and performances, meet-and-greets, music and lifestyle exhibits, prize giveaways and more. Admission to Xfinity Fan Fair X is open to all four-day CMA Fest pass holders and Xfinity Fan Fair X ticket holders. Tickets can be purchased for $10 per day or $25 for all four days at CMAfest.com/tickets.

The Country Music Association has revealed the initial artist lineup for this year's CMA Fest, which features hundreds of Country Music artists performing on multiple stages throughout downtown Nashville Thursday through Sunday, June 6-9. CMA Fest is a one-of-a-kind festival with artists donating their time to perform so a portion of ticket proceeds can directly benefit high-quality music programs across the country through the CMA Foundation. A limited number of four-day passes for the nightly performances at Nissan Stadium are still available at CMAfest.com or through the CMA Box Office at 1-800-CMA-FEST.

 Congratulations to The Travelin' McCourys on their GRAMMY win for “Best Bluegrass Album,” announced today in Los Angeles, CA. The band's eponymous debut album was released on May 25th of last year after decades of playing-- the GRAMMY award pointing to both the band's work ethic and their innovative style of bluegrass which honors the genre's tradition and drives it forward. In the acceptance speech Rob McCoury thanked Del and Jean McCoury, saying “without them, none of this would have happened.” And it's true; few, if any, have blazed a musical path for their children the way Del has. Taking the torch, the Travelin' McCourys have proven that not only are they worthy; they're comfortable blazing a trail of their own.
