Director Matt Reeves shared a camera test for his upcoming film, 'The Batman,' today. Robert Pattinson stars as the famous Caped Crusader.

Deadline reports that Olivia Colman, Jessie Buckley, Dakota Johnson, and Peter Sarsgaard have joined the cast of 'The Lost Daughter.'

Principal photography has begun on Warner Bros. Pictures' “The Batman.” Director Matt Reeves (the “Planet of the Apes” films) is at the helm, with Robert Pattinson (upcoming “Tenet,” “The Lighthouse,” “Good Time”) starring as Gotham City's vigilante detective, Batman, and billionaire Bruce Wayne.

CBS All Access today announced that its new original true-crime series, INTERROGATION, will be available to binge beginning Thursday, Feb. 6. The streaming service also released the series' teaser art. With all episodes dropping at once, viewers will see the day of the crime and then follow the evidence like a cold case detective, abandon the linear narrative and determine their own investigative path by watching the episodes leading up to the finale in any order.

Variety reports that actor Peter Sarsgaard has joined the cast of Matt Reeves' upcoming superhero film 'The Batman.'

Vertical Entertainment and DIRECTV have acquired the North American distribution rights to Human Capital following its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. Starring Oscar-award winner Marisa Tomei (My Cousin Vinny, The Big Short), Liev Schreiber (Spotlight, a?oeRay Donovana??), Peter Sarsgaard (The Magnificent Seven, Blue Jasmine), and Maya Hawke (Stranger Things, Once Upon A Timea??in Hollywood), the film focuses on the lives of two families from different socio-economic backgrounds who collide when their children begin a relationship that leads to a tragic accident. Also starring Aasif Mandvi (Million Dollar Arm, Margin Call) and Alex Wolff (Hereditary, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle). The release is planned for Q2 2020.

BAM announces the full lineup for the 11th annual BAMcinemaFest, a platform for both emerging and established filmmakers, running June 12—23. This year's 12-day festival includes 18 NY premieres, one U.S. premiere, and three world premieres. According to Associate Vice President of Film Gina Duncan, “Our goal remains consistent: to present the best American independent cinema being made today. But this is the first year that I've felt the films fit together as a cohesive whole; they are linked by a naturalness, an intimate focus, and boundless creativity. Austin Pendleton and Barbara Bleier return to downtown's hideaway, Pangea, in May, with a brand new show. HOW ABOUT LOVE?  tells you everything you always wanted to know about falling in (and out of) love, but were afraid to ask! Bleier and Pendleton, along with Barbara Maier Gustern and Paul Greenwood, will sing love songs (solos, duets, trios and quartets) by such composers as Richard Rogers, Rogers and Hart, Rogers and Hammerstein, Kurt Weil, Jonathan Larson, Stephen Sondheim, Peter Larson, George and Ira Gershwin, Francesca Blumenthal, and Tom Toce, among others. There are three performances scheduled: May 7, 14, and 21st.

Deadline reports Vincent D'Onofrio will recur opposite Kyle Gallner in CBS All Access' true-crime drama Interrogation.

BBC Two has acquired ten-part series, The Looming Tower, based on Lawrence Wright's Pulitzer Prize-winning non-fiction book about the rising threat of Osama Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda in the late 1990s and how the rivalry between the FBI and CIA during that time may have inadvertently set the path for the tragedy of 9/11.

David F. Sandberg ('Annabelle: Creation') directs New Line Cinema's 'Shazam!,' the origin story that stars Zachary Levi (TV's 'Chuck') as the titular DC Super Hero, along with Asher Angel (TV's 'Andi Mack') as Billy Batson, and Mark Strong (the 'Kingsman' movies) in the role of Super-Villain Dr. Thaddeus Sivana. Peter Safran ('Aquaman,' 'The Conjuring' and 'Annabelle' films) serves as the film's producer.

CBS All Access today announced production has officially begun in Albuquerque, N.M., on INTERROGATION, the service's new true-crime series where the viewer becomes the detective. The series' first nine episodes will be available to binge in any order with each episode structured around an interrogation. This multi-linear approach will give viewers the opportunity to follow their instincts and develop their own interpretations of the facts of the case and ultimately decide innocence or guilt. The shocking season finale will be released at a later date.

 Danny DeVito, Vicky Krieps, Peter Sarsgaard, Saro Emirze, Dar Zuzovsky and John Leguizamo have joined the cast of Director Barry Levinson's HARRY HAFT, which BRON Studios and New Mandate Films are producing in association with Creative Wealth Media. The film began production February 25 on location in Hungary and New York.  

Dolby Laboratories' Dolby Institute and Sundance Institute, along with the Ray and Dagmar Dolby Family Fund, today announced that Honey Boy, directed by Alma Har'el and written by Shia LaBeouf, and The Sound of Silence, directed by Michael Tyburski and co-written by Ben Nabors and Michael Tyburski, have both received the Dolby Family Fellowship. The Fellowship offers recipients a wide array of post-production technologies including Dolby Atmos, and new this year, the addition of Dolby Vision to further amplify the filmmakers' visions. Honey Boy will premiere at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival in Dolby Atmos at the Eccles Theatre on Friday January 25 at 3:30 p.m. MT, and the world premiere of The Sound of Silence takes place Saturday, January 26, in Dolby Atmos at the Ray Theater at 12:30 p.m. MT.

Underground Railway Theater is proud to present Bedlam's Pygmalion by George Bernard Shaw. Bedlam's Pygmalion runs from January 31 - March 3, 2019 and is directed by Bedlam Artistic Director Eric Tucker. The press performance is Monday, February 4 at 7:30PM.

Last night, the Critics' Choice Awards were announced. Taking home the top prize of Best Picture was Roma. Also, in a surprising turn of events, both Lady Gaga and Glenn Close took home the award for Best Actress, for A Star is Born and The Wife, respectively.

This week, the National Board of Review celebrated their 2018 honorees, with top awards including Green Book as Best Film of the Year, Bradley Cooper as Best Director of the Year for A Star is Born, Viggo Mortensen as Best Actor of the Year for his performance in Green Book, and Lady Gaga as Best Actress of the Year for her performance in A Star is Born.
