BroadwayWorld has a first look at Cleveland Musical Theatre's newly revised version of Jane Eyre, The Musical starring Andrea Goss and Matt Bogart. This re-conceived version of Jane Eyre is the result of a yearlong collaboration between CMT's Artistic Director, Miles J. Sternfeld, Tony Award-nominated composerlyricist Paul Gordon and Tony Award-winning book writer John Caird. 

Charlotte Bronte's book, 'Jane Eyre,' is a gothic melodrama which centers on strong-minded Jane's cruel treatment by her sadistic cousin and aunt, being shipped off to jail-like boarding school, departing to become a nanny for the ward of the wealthy but psychologically tortured Edward Fairfax with whom she falls in love, and the resulting angst of secrets revealed.

The touching new Musical Daddy Long Legs is making it's Georgia premiere at the Legacy Theatre! This beautiful Off-Broadway hit opens September 7th and runs through September 30th.

Greater Boston Stage Company opens its 19th Season with Being Earnest, Paul Gordon and Jay Gruksa's irrepressible musical interpretation of Oscar Wilde's classic, The Importance of Being Earnest. Hershey Area Playhouse is pleased to present Daddy Long Legs. Daddy Long Legs is a stage musical with a book by John Caird, and music and lyrics by Paul Gordon. It is based on the 1912 novel of the same name by Jean Webster. It is set in turn-of-the-century New England, the musical tells the story of orphan Jerusha Abbott of the John Grier Home and her mysterious benefactor who agrees to send her to college, who she dubs 'Daddy Long Legs' after seeing his elongated shadow. Under the conditions of her benefactor, Jerusha sends him a letter once a month, describing her new-found experiences with life outside the orphanage.

Spinning Tree Theatre proudly opens the 2018-19 season August 17 - September 2 with the Kansas City premiere of Daddy Long Legs, the 2015 Off-Broadway musical based on Jean Webster's 1912 novella. With book by John Caird (original director, Les Miserables) and music and lyrics by Paul Gordon (composer, Jane Eyre), Daddy Long Legs won the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Book of a Musical.

Though she may be better known as the princess of the adored musical Anastasia, Christy Altomare recently took the stage at 54 Below's Broadway Princess Party to sing a different princess number.
