OrpheusPDX General and Artistic Director, Christopher Mattaliano, has officially announced the details of the 2023 season, the company's  second. Performances of Mozart's masterwork The Royal Shepherd (Il Re Pastore)  and Nico Muhly's compelling Dark Sisters will take place in Portland's 475-seat  Lincoln Hall, where opera is experienced at its best—up close and personal. 

The 92nd Street Y, New York will present Pepe Romero, guitar, on April 16, 2023 at 3pm ET at the Kaufmann Concert Hall.

Three-time Grammy-nominated tenor Nicholas Phan returns to the New York Philharmonic under Jaap van Zweden this spring to sing the Evangelist in Bach's St. Matthew Passion (March 23–25).

Catapult Opera has commissioned a new work from multi-hyphenate performer, Celisse.

The Onassis Foundation announced the full schedule of events comprising the multi-disciplinary, multi-venue 'Archive of Desire': A Festival Inspired by the Poet C. P. Cavafy, which is presented in collaboration with National Sawdust and takes place April 28 through May 6, 2023, with special offerings throughout April.

The 92nd Street Y, New York (92NY) will present Stephen Hough, piano, plays Debussy, Liszt, and more, on March 30, 2023 at 7:30pm ET at the Kaufmann Concert Hall.

Like gathering sunshine, the Utah Symphony's performances of Dvořák's Symphony No. 5 will bring bubbly and bright music to center stage. The final evening concert will take place tonight, Saturday, March 4, at Abravanel Hall in downtown Salt Lake City.

Terence Blanchard’s opera Champion, based on the true story of the troubled former middleweight boxing champion Emile Griffith, will have its highly anticipated Metropolitan Opera premiere on April 10, with nine performances running through May 13.

Gatsby, a brand-new musical stage adaptation of the legendary F. Scott Fitzgerald novel, will make its highly anticipated World Premiere at A.R.T. in 2024, and will be directed by Tony Award winner Rachel Chavkin and choreographed by Tony Award winner Sonya Tayeh.

The 92nd Street Y, New York (92NY), one of New York's leading cultural venues, presents Bach Collegium Japan & Roderick Williams, baritone, on February 12, 2023 at 3pm ET at the Kaufmann Concert Hall.

The YOSA Philharmonic will electrify the Tobin Center with world's foremost electric violinist Tracy Silverman in Zachry Series 2: Electricity.

The two evening concerts will take place Friday and Saturday, January 27 and 28, at Abravanel Hall in downtown Salt Lake City. In addition, the Utah Symphony will also perform two dynamic pieces—Joshua Cerdenia's Feuertrunken (Fire-Drunk) and Stravinsky's Firebird Suite (1919).
