The critically acclaimed CABARET CAMPAIGNS: RIDE THE BLUE WAVE 2018! at Don't Tell Mama featured 28 different performers and raised more than $6,000 divided among 30 candidates. Election Day 2018 was indeed a a?oeBlue Wave,a?? as the Democrats flipped 40 seats in Congress.

Known for her powerful and riveting vocals, Symphony Siren and Broadway Diva N'Kenge (Motown: The Musical, Sondheim and Sondheim) joins the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra conducted by Jack Everly.  N'Kenge will be joined by vocalist Ron Remke and Troupe Vertigo in this dazzling evening of acrobats and show-stopping numbers. Thursday - Saturday,  April 4th - April 6th (8:00 p.m.) and Sunday, April 7th at (3:00 p.m.)

On his day off from appearing as Hermes in the Broadway production of Anais Mitchell's Hadestown at the Walter Kerr Theatre, two-time Tony nominee and Emmy winner Andre De Shields headed to the Victoria Theater at NJPAC in Newark to celebrate his company of fabulous singers and dancers under his direction in the Crossroads Theatre Company and NJPAC's co-production of Duke Ellington's Sophisticated Ladies. MOTOWN: The Musical and Helen Hayes nominee N'Kenge, returned this season to Houston Symphony Orchestra for the Ella Fitzgerald Songbook Concert under the baton of Maestro Steven Reineke. On Nov. 19, 2018, the 46th Annual Vivian Robinson AUDELCO Recognition Awards for Excellence in Black Theatre were held at Tribeca Performing Arts Center. On Kentucky Avenue, a new original musical created by Jeree Wade and written by Adam Wade and Ty Stephens, was nominated for 10 AUDELCO Awards, taking home a total of six, the highest number of wins for the evening, including for "Best Musical."

Award Winning Singer/Actress N'Kenge, showcased a ubiquitous range of musical favorites from Ray Charles, to Aretha Franklin and even Puccini's 'Donde Lieta' from La Boheme.

Broadway's MOTOWN: The Musical and Award Winning Songstress N'Kenge brings LEGENDS! to The Pierre's Two E Bar, Oct 1, 2018 at 8:30PM. N'Kenge will be the first soloist to open up the Broadway Series this season and was the first to give a Solo Show last season.
