Broadway's MOTOWN: The Musical and Award Winning Songstress N'Kenge brings HOLIDAY MAGIC to The Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage Thursday 6:00PM. Dr. Lester Green will be at the piano and N'Kenge will deliver a program celebrating the holidays mixed with spirituals, Motown favorites and more. This is a Free Concert to the Public and can be viewed through livestream.

N'Kenge was last seen at the Kennedy Center as a soloist for the Children's Defense Fund Gala Concert and she received a Helen Hayes Nomination in the Category of Outstanding Leading Actress in Arena Stage's production of 3 Mo'Divas. Cabaret Scenes described N'Kenge as "When it comes to power vocals, who ya' gonna call? N'Kenge...the diva not only has a voice of immense depth and range, but she knows how to use it to its best advantage." Theater Pizzazz's rave review highlighted N'Kenge with " It's hard to fathom where all that power and vocal pyrotechnics come from as she's as big as a minute...N'Kenge has the voice, the looks and the presence of a Star."

N'Kenge, a native New Yorker and with family in Columbia, Maryland, she was seen on TV as a presenter at the 58th Annual NY Emmy Awards and has sung for President Bill Clinton at the White House and for the Commander-In-Chief Ball for President Obama. N'Kenge was described as "Electrifying" by the NY Post in her origination of the role of Mary Wells in MOTOWN: THE MUSICAL on Broadway and made her West End debut starring in THE GENIUS OF Ray Charles. She has also starred in the Michael Jackson Tribute Show World Tour and has been seen as a soloist with symphonies globally including at Carnegie Hall with The New York Pops Orchestra, Baltimore Symphony, Cincinnati Symphony Indianapolis Symphony and Ottawa Symphony, to name a few. In addition to being a Brand Ambassador to celebrities' new go-to make-up line "Sheree Cosmetics" https://shereecosmetics.com/ and popular sunglasses line "Velvet Eyewear" https://velveteyewear.com/, she's also the Conceiver, Producer and Star of Broadway bound's New musical inspired by the life and music of Hollywood's Legend Dorothy Dandridge. www.dorothydandridgemusicalcom
