The winners are: The Monster by Chelsea Marcantel, Michael Mahler, and Alan Schmuckler, Oratorio for Living Things by Heather Christian, and TL;DR: Thelma Louise; Dyke Remix by EllaRose Chary and Brandon James Gwinn.

Bring the whole family to Gulfshore Playhouse this holiday season for two spirited productions from the theater's STAR (Student Theatre Artists in Residence) Academy. Student actors participating in the academy's after-school theater education program will first stage 'Little Women' Dec. 4 through 6, followed by a production of 'Ebenezer Junior' Dec. 17 through 19, 2020.

With backup cookies played by Badia Farha (School of Rock), Cori Jaskier, Kennedy Kanagawa, MinJi Kim, Luana Psaros, and Dani Weiner and a cameo by Broadway lyricist Mindi Dickstein (who inspired the song), the piece is about quarantine snacking. Orchestrations are by Elspeth Collard.

Gulfshore Playhouse, Naples' premier professional theater will soon host auditions for its Student Theatre Artists in Residence (STAR) Academy fall productions: a?oeLittle Women: The Broadway Musicala?? and a?oeEbenezer.a?? Open to students ages 8-18 of any experience level, auditions for both programs will take place Sept. 8, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with callbacks for a?oeLittle Womena?? on Sept. 9 and a?oeEbenezera?? on Sept. 10. Auditions will occur at The Norris Center, located at 755 8th Avenue S, Naples, FL. Tuition for each program is $500; need-based scholarships are available.
