Birdland Jazz Club, Brian Cali presents HARMONY ON BROADWAY on March 11th, at 7pm. Your favorite Broadway melodies, reimagined through Jake Odmark's incredible harmonic arrangements. Join us for an evening of beautiful harmonies sung by some of the best in the Broadway community.

THE GREEN ROOM 42 - Broadway's newest intimate concert venue - has announced the return of Bitching and Belting on Saturday, March 2 at 9:30 PM. Join Michael Gioia and his Broadway faves for a set list of the sassiest songs, most dangerous duets and, of course, some badass bitching.

Goodspeed Musicals is producing an invitation only workshop of the new musical Passing Through in NY February 12 -15, 2019. 

The new musical BONHOEFFER THE MUSICAL will have industry presentation today, December 14 at 2PM at The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Theatre Center. BONHOEFFER THE MUSICAL is directed by Daniel Goldstein (Godspell, revivial) with book by Richard John Lewis (Hotel Accommodations), music and lyrics by Scott Wilkinson and casting by Michael Cassara.

The new musical BONHOEFFER THE MUSICAL will have industry presentation on Friday, December 14 at 2PM at The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Theatre Center. Broadway talents including Amber Iman (Hamilton), Kristolyn Lloyd (Dear Evan Hansen), and Alysha Umphress (American Idiot) complete the lineup for the next installment of the acclaimed Broadway Sings concert series, honoring singer-songwriter John Legend. Cast members from Broadway shows including Frozen, Wicked, Kinky Boots, and Mean Girls will sing completely new arrangements of the hits of the American singer, accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra playing original orchestrations of his music.

The acclaimed Broadway Sings concert series will continue on December 3 at 8pm, honoring singer-songwriter John Legend with a bombshell cast of Broadway stars including Eden Espinosa (Brooklyn), J. Harrison Ghee (Kinky Boots) and Solea Pfeiffer (Hamilton). The one-night-only concert will feature completely new arrangements of the hits of the American singer, accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra playing original orchestrations of his music.

New York City singer-songwriter, Melissa Modifer, is back at Rockwood Music Hall (Stage 2) to release her live album with some of New York City's finest storytellers singing her music! Melissa's music has a soulful, pop sound with beautiful lyricism that will pull on the heart strings. Watch this music come to life on Sunday, September 2 at 8pm.

Next month, FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club & Private Event Destination, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond.

If it is the secret of happiness you seek, you might look no further than The Kennedy Theatre in Downtown Raleigh where Theatre Raleigh's production of 'Daddy Long Legs' opened last night. Based on the 1912 novel by Jean Webster, the two-actor musical 'Daddy Long Legs' is the coming-of-age story of Jerusha Abbott, the oldest orphan in The John Grier Home. Jerusha's life is forever changed when a mysterious unknown benefactor, who calls himself Mr. Smith, decides to send her to college. His nine-point plan 'for the further education of Jerusha Abbott' includes she write him one letter every month, which he will not read nor respond to. Over the next four years, Jerusha finds her spirit, voice, happiness, and love in the arms of Jervis Pendleton, who may have a secret of his own. 'Daddy Long Legs' is a sweet, heartfelt love story in the spirit of Miklos Laszlo's 1937 play 'Parfumerie,' which inspired the movies 'The Shop Around the Corner' and 'You've Got Mail.' And who knows, perhaps Theatre Raleigh's production may even inspire you to pen a love letter of your own.

Theatre Raleigh ushers in the 2018 Summer Series with the classic 'rags-to-riches' tale of newfound love Daddy Long Legs at the Kennedy Theatre May 16th  through the 27th. This heartwarming Cinderella story about a witty and winsome young woman and her mysterious benefactor is based on the classic novel by Jean Webster.  The two-person musical is a beloved tale in the spirit of Jane Austen, The Bronte Sisters and "Downton Abbey'.

On April 23rd the 5th annual Broadway for Self Help Africa event will bring together some of Broadway's biggest stars for a night of song and celebration benefiting Self Help Africa at The Cutting Room in New York City. Broadway for Self Help Africa will feature musical direction by Ryan Fielding Garrett (Kinky Boots).
