NewYorkRep has commissioned  May Day, a new ten-minute, mini-musical by award-winning collaborators Melissa Li & Kit Yan, inspired by the mistaken missile emergency alert set off in Hawaii in 2018.

Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) will present the June Panel Life on Hold, and What We Do in the Meantime on Thursday, June 25, 2020 via Zoom.

The powerfully moving play, THE WHITE ROSE: WE DEFIED HITLER, by David Meyers opened Friday, January 24, at The Coterie Theatre in Kansas City. The 70-minute play is produced in cooperation with the University of Missouri at Kansas City Theatre Department and produced with the Midwest Center for Holocaust Education. The show based on actual events runs at The Coterie through February 9.

NewYorkRep, in association with Bill DeSimone and Jenna Grossano, will present two industry readings of Just Between The All of Us, with book & lyrics by Kellen Blair (Murder For Two) and Sarah Ziegler Blair, and music by David Christensen. Tony winner Lena Hall (Hedwig & The Angry Inch, Kinky Boots) will star alongside Wade McCollum (Ernest Shackleton Loves Me, Wicked) in a developmental reading of the new Off Broadway-bound musical, Spun, at Signature Theatre May 20 & 21.

To commemorate the one-year anniversary of the Parkland shooting, NewYorkRep will present a nation-wide series of staged readings of the award-winning, Off-Broadway play, CHURCH & STATE on February 14 at seven universities throughout the US.

Theatre Aspen has announced a partnership with The Wheeler Opera House for the fourth annual Aspen Theatre Festival. The collaboration will support a developmental production of THE MAD SHOW, created from the twisted minds of 'the Usual Gang of Idiots' behind MAD Magazine. Beginning September 12th, the work will culminate in two presentations at the Wheeler Opera House.

The New York Musical Festival and NewYorkRep present the world premiere of A WALL APART, a new rock musical featuring an original score by Graham Russell of the legendary rock band AirSupply, and a book by Sam Goldstein and Craig Clyde.
