Fourth Wall Live and The Hippodrome Casino London have announced a series of over 40 shows at the Hippodrome Casino this winter. The season runs from 18 November every week for 5 weeks and will include two shows nightly at 7.00pm and 9.00pm.

Casting has been announced for MPTheatricals & The Other Palace's on hope: a digital song cycle - an unprecedented outpouring of new musical theatre pieces designed to spark hope during this global crisis. The trilogy will be live streamed on Wednesday 29th April, 6th May & 13th May at 7:30pm.

And last night during Lucie Jones Live at the Adelphi, as theatreland came together to celebrate her talents, Jones showcased her authentic self and it was a delight to witness.

A musical comedy noir, with book by Maureen Chadwick, co-creator of the original TV series, and music & lyrics by Kath Gotts (also co-creators of 'Bad Girls - The Musical'), 'Footballers' Wives - The Musical' is based around the first TV series, and follows the fall and rise of super-bitch Tanya Turner - captain's wife and old school femme fatale - as she struggles to keep her marriage afloat to footballer and lothario, Jason Turner, amidst groupies, meddling club chairmen, deception, betrayal and murder.

Paul Taylor-Mills has announced full casting for the Taster Menu series of new musicals featuring as part of MT Fest UK. Playing at The Other Palace from Monday 11 to Saturday 23 February, the series will showcase eight new musicals through 45-minute semi-staged sharings.

'Omigod You Guys!', Laurence O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin's 2007 musical adaption of the hit 2001 comedy film starring Reese Witherspoon is in Brighton as part of its second UK tour since the West End production closed in 2012.

On Sunday 1 April, the West End's best talents joined forces for THE MUSICAL MARATHON at The Other Palace to support Paul Taylor-Mills' efforts in raising money for the Terrence Higgins Trust. After You is the first musical to be performed at The Crazy Coqs venue, deep under Piccadilly Circus at Brasserie Zedel in London's West End. Childhood friends and musical collaborators Katie Lam and Alex Parker were commissioned to create a musical specifically for the venue and the result is a time-honoured story of strangers meeting and an irresistible connection being sparked.

Nearly a decade ago, my best friend - round at my house as he had been pretty much every day of the school summer holidays - had an idea. This year, for our school's drama competition, we should write and produce a musical.
