Liisi LaFontaine, Ian Mcintosh and More to Bring Icons to Life at West End Live Lounge

On Sunday 11th June, West End Live Lounge returns with 'Icons and Legends'- an evening celebrating work from some of the the most Iconic and influential names in the world of music.

After a sell out show in March, L&M productions are back with an unmissable line up including Liisi LaFontaine, Ian McIntosh, Liam Doyle, Ruth Brown, Oliver Savile and many more.

Liisi LaFontaine is currently playing Deena in the Olivier nominated production of Dreamgirls at the Savoy Theatre. This marks her West End debut. Previous theatre credits include Ti'Moune in 'Once on this Island' and Mimi in 'RENT'.

Ian McIntosh is no stranger to a West End Stage. He can currently be seen at the Aldwych Theatre playing the role of Barry Mann in 'Beautiful: The Carole King Musical'. Ian received an Olivier Nomination for 'Best supporting actor in a musical' for this role. His other credits include 'Rock of Ages', 'The Commitments' and 'Hair'.

Liam Doyle is soon to head out on the road with the UK Tour of 'Legally Blonde', playing the role of Warner. His many theatre credits include Link in 'Hairspray', Sam Wheat in 'Ghost', Eddie in 'Mamma Mia' and Fiyero in 'Wicked'.

Ruth Brown first appeared on our screens as a contestant on The Voice in 2012. She reached the semi-finals under the mentoring of her team leader, Sir Tom Jones. She is currently in the West End cast of 'Dreamgirls', alternating the role of Effie White.

We are thrilled to welcome back Oliver Savile, who took part in our first West End Live Lounge. He can currently be seen in the smash hit musical 'Wicked', playing the role of Fiyero. His other theatre credits include 'Phantom Of the Opera', 'Cats' and 'Mamma Mia'.

West End Live Lounge was set up by Shaun McCourt and Leigh Lothian earlier this year. The view being to put on concerts featuring West End talent in order to raise money for vital charities. The first concert raised money for the UNICEF Syrian Appeal and was a huge success. The upcoming gig will raise money for MIND Charity - an organisation helping those suffering from mental health issues whilst simultaneously raising awareness for the cause.

The full cast (subject to availability) includes: Kelly Agbowu, Marcus Ayton, Amy Di Bartolomeo, Andrew Bateup, Ruth Brown, Ashford Campbell, Liam Doyle, Hannah Ducharme, Michael Duke, Alexis Gerred, Natalie Green, Lauren Ingram, George Jennings, Liisi LaFontaine, Emma Lindars, Leigh Lothian, Laura Mansell, Iain Mattley, Ian McIntosh, Katie Paine, Brady Issacs Pearce, Oliver Savile, Matthew Seadon-Young, Cleve September, Sapphire Soul, Anton Stephans, and Paul Wilkins .

In addition Musical direction will be by Sam Coates and Benjamin Vivian - Jones will feature as compere for the evening.

Come along and hear an array of West End talent singing songs by artists including Prince, Bowie, Madonna, Whitney Houston, Frank Sinatra, Amy Winehouse and many more.
