The Canadian shows will follow Rateliff’s performances of “A Night of Leonard Cohen with the Colorado Symphony” for their Imagination Artist Series, taking place at Denver’s Boettcher Concert Hall on April 5 and 6. All performances will feature support from pianist Phil Cook, the virtuosic folk musician and frequent collaborator of Rateliff’s.

Diane Warren will be honored with the prestigious Johnny Mercer Award at the 2024 Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Gala in New York City on June 13, 2024. Other notable inductees include Hillary Lindsey, Timbaland, and R.E.M. The award reflects whose body of work upholds the gold standard set by the legendary Johnny Mercer.

The victory comes following several successful festival appearances, including at the 2023 BFI London Film Festival and the 2023 Venice Biennale Film Festival, where it was included in the Orizzonti competition. The film was also longlisted for the 2023 BIFA award for Best Live Action Short.

“Raised In The Ashes” was produced by platinum recording artist Ron Pope and features contributions from Robby Hecht (backing vocals) and Mountain Heart's Seth Taylor on banjo and acoustic guitar. It follows the release of “Complicated Man,” a song about acknowledging your moral victories as well as your failures.

“Deeper Shade Of Blue” follows previous singles “Rosary,” which Americana Highways exclaimed, “the suspense and darkness begins its haunting from the opening note,” and “Beautiful Day,” which Glide Magazine called, “a dreamy work of Americana-laced folk-rock that finds them leaning into a sound that is quietly rocking.”

Congratulations to Elisapie and Dominique Fils Aimé for their nominations for this year's JUNO Awards.
