From the songbook of The Man in Black himself, comes the musical adaptation "Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash". Performed by a multi-talented cast of 10, the show features 38 Cash classics including "I Walk the Line", "A Boy Named Sue" and "Folsom Prison Blues". This lively musical about love and faith, struggle and success, and rowdiness and redemption, opens at Syracuse Stage on June 9 in the Archbold Theatre at Syracuse Stage/SU Drama Complex, 820 E. The Crested Butte Opera Studio vocalists showcase their artistry in a recital on June 23; Famed NYC DJ and club impresario Johnny Dynell  leads a night of masked dancing on June 24; Members of the Crested Butte Opera Studio will present Cabaret Bleu, an evening of music from the American Songbook on June 27; Mark O'Connor – perhaps the greatest fiddler of all time – offers two concerts with his family on June 28 and 29; and the Swallow Hill Bluegrass Kids Camp offers five days of immersive music instruction. That's what happens in MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, the Tony-winning musical that brings to life this legendary session that occurred on December 4, 1956 at Sun Records Studio in Memphis, Tennessee. Sam Phillips, the "Father of Rock 'n' Roll" who was responsible for launching the careers of each icon, brought the four legendary musicians together at the Sun Records studio in Memphis for the first and only time.
