The Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) will present its sixteenth annual All-City Musical, MEMPHIS to crown the District's 2014-15 series of All-City Arts Programming. The production features the talents of nearly fifty CMSD students from across the District and will take place on the stage of the Ohio Theatre at Playhouse Square, May 22 - 24, 2015. Tony Sias, Director of Arts Education / Cleveland School of the Arts Artistic Director for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, co-directs the production with the CMSD All-City Arts Program's Managing Director, Kimberly Brown. The new screwball comedy Living on Love, is the season's first post-Tony nomination closing announcement after receiving no nominations this morning. The show  will play its final performance on Broadway this Sunday, May 3, 2015 after 21 previews and 16 regular performances at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street, NYC). Living on Love is written by two-time Tony Award winner Joe DiPietro, based on the play Peccadillo by Garson Kanin and directed by three-time Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall.  (more...)
