Florida Studio Theatre has announced that, due to audience demand, the theatre is extending the run of Ken Ludwig's A Comedy of Tenors, a rollicking comedy full of mistaken identities, slamming doors, and comical misunderstandings.

Florida Studio Theatre will present Ken Ludwig's A Comedy of Tenors, an over-the-top comedy full of mistaken identities, blissful romance, and madcap delight. It is 1930s Paris and the stage is set for “the concert of the century,” where the world's top three tenors are going to deliver a once-in-a-lifetime performance.

Sharon Playhouse will present the Playhouse premiere of the musical comedy Something Rotten by John O’Farrell, Karey and Wayne Kirkpatrick. Learn how to purchase tickets!

While the series' recurring cast includes Tom Selleck, Bridget Moynahan, Donnie Wahlberg, and more, guest stars have included Audra McDonald, Kelli O'Hara, Joanna Gleason, Adrienne Warren, Jinkx Monsoon, Norm Lewis, Norbert Leo Butz, and more. On Thursday, October 27 and Friday, October 28, Ken Davenport will be hosting presentations of the new musical THE GRISWOLDS’ BROADWAY VACATION with book, music, and lyrics by David Rossmer and Steve Rosen and directed and choreographed by Donna Feore.

At this half-hour long event, Equity celebrated Westphal's life with a special version of the Robe ceremony, honoring Westphal with a commemorative panel. BroadwayWorld was there and you can check out photos from the event here!

The 5th Avenue Theatre has announced that Broadway's Kate Rockwell (Mean Girls, Bring it On: The Musical, Legally Blonde) and Hunter Foster (Little Shop of Horrors, The Producers, The Bridges of Madison County) will star as Ellen and Clark Griswold in the upcoming world premiere of the laugh-out-loud new musical comedy The Griswolds' Broadway Vacation.

Ogunquit Playhouse kicked off their very first Outdoor Season with Spamalot. Returning to the role of King Arthur that he originated for Ogunquit Playhouse in 2010 is the charismatic Charles Shaughnessy, best known to TV fans as Mr. Sheffield on CBS' 'The Nanny' and Shane Donovan on NBC's 'Days of Our Lives.'

Monty Python will take on a new twist as Ogunquit Playhouse kicks off their very first Outdoor Season with Spamalot, the first production to play the theater’s new, 25,000-square-foot, open-air Leary Pavilion. Spamalot begins previews Wednesday, June 16, opens Friday, June 18, and runs through July 10, 2021.
