The Royal Opera have announced their partnership with Balenciaga. The House has selected specific pieces from its Fall 2022 and Winter 2022 collections for the Last Days costumes.  

With a famously raucous live show, a diverse history of international touring, burgeoning streaming numbers, sync placements in major TV shows, and an ever-expanding fanbase, Jesse Roper returns tomorrow with Horizons, his third album and first full-length release in over four years. And now, announcing a cross-Canada fall tour.

Director Sidney Lumet followed a string of Oscar®-winning 1970s classics with this lavish adaptation of the popular Broadway musical The Wiz, noted for its lively score and all-Black cast.  The Academy Museum’s first anniversary screening of The Wiz will feature live dance performances by the Debbie Allen Dance Studio youth performers.

Movies @ the Warner presents GOOD WILL HUNTING, 9/29 at 7 pm. The following week, the Warner will show MONSTER HOUSE, 10/6 at 7 pm. Fall Films are presented by Movies @ the Warner and sponsored by Elevator Service Company.

MOD SUN shares a gritty, intimate and raw short film video for his powerful single “Battle Scars.” Inspired by some of his favorite filmmakers, including Gus Van Sant, the short film was shot in a one of a kind desert location. MOD co-directed the film with frequent collaborator Charlie Zwick (“Flames” feat. Avril Lavigne, “Bones”). 

Feud: Capote's Women will be based on Laurence Leamer’s book, 'Capote’s Women: A True Story of Love, Betrayal, and a Swan Song for an Era.' Hollander will lead as Capote with Lane playing Slim Keith. The series will also feature Naomi Watts as Babe Paley, Chloë Sevigny as C.Z. Guest, and Calista Flockhart as Lee Radziwill.

Canadian rocker Jesse Roper is back with the sultry and Motown-inspired new single “Cool Whip.” Working closely with famed JUNO-nominated producer Gus Van Go (Metric, The Stills, Whitehorse, Arkells, The Trews, Sam Roberts) on this new collection of songs has pushed Roper into creating some of his best work.

Disney+ announced that acclaimed actress Rosemarie DeWitt (“The Staircase”), and Emmy® Award-winning actors Luke Kirby (“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”) and Judith Light (“American Crime Story”) have been added to the cast of “Out of My Mind,” a Disney+ Original movie adaptation of Sharon Draper’s award-winning novel of the same name.

The song arrives with an official music video, directed by FINNEAS’ longtime partner, actress Claudia Sulewski. The video features clips and snippets from life on the road during his sister Billie Eilish’s recent European tour. ‘Mona Lisa, Mona Lisa’ serves as the follow up to FINNEAS’ first release of 2022, “Naked.' Already a creative pioneer in the realms of art, music, literature and fashion: this will be her first ever international headlining solo tour, originally slated for 2020, for a pre-Covid world. This marks the first tour in support of her critical No Home Record live.

The film director Gus Van Sant ventures out in his first stage creation, a musical-theatre show inspired by Andy Warhol and his overwhelming talent to elevate images to icons, while escalating as a persona and as an artist to the status of world celebrity. Gus Van Sant reconstructs Warhol’s past, in the early stages of his career, through a fictional narrative built from real facts and memories, but also from imagination.

Long out of circulation, the iconic independent filmmaker's hallucinatory meditation on violence has been restored by the Academy Film Archive and Martin Scorsese's The Film Foundation, with funding provided by the Hobson/Lucas Family Foundation.
