Peninsula Players Theatre presents a reading of Joseph Zettelmaier's latest theatrical project entitled a?oeHaunted: The Great Lakes Ghost Projecta?? on Monday, March 2, at 7 p.m. at Björklunden, located at 7590 Boynton Lane, Baileys Harbor. Zettelmaier is a four-time nominee for the Steinberg/American Theatre Critics Association New Play Award. Limited general seating is available, and admission is free.

Peninsula Players Theatre presented a reading of James Hindman's 'Popcorn Falls' on Monday, February 3, to a capacity crowd at Björklunden. The new two-person comedy is set in the sleepy town of Popcorn Falls, whose only claim to fame - their namesake waterfall - has dried up. An arts grant can save the town, but the Mayor and other townsfolks must mount a play within a week.

'Popcorn Falls' is produced with support from and in coordination with Door County Reads and its exploration of 'Virgil Wander' by Leif Engel. General seating is available and admission is free.

Peninsula Players Theatre announces the 2020 season of The Play's the Thing, a winter play reading series presented to Door County audiences. Fully cast readings of the plays will perform at Björklunden at 7590 Boynton Lane, Baileys Harbor Mondays, February 3, March 2 and April 6 at 7 p.m. General seating is available; there is no admission fee.

Peninsula Players Theatre presented a reading of The Gentleman Thief, a new romantic comedy-caper by award-winning playwright Mark Brown, on Monday, April 1 at Bj rklunden. Based on a story by P.G. Wodehouse, the creator of such comic characters as Bertie Wooster and his manservant, Jeeves, The Gentleman Thief romantic comedy-caper entertained the capacity crowd and broke attendance records.

Peninsula Players Theatre presented a reading of Kristine Thatcher's Apparitions on Monday, February 4 to a capacity crowd at Bj rklunden. Thatcher was commissioned by the Peninsula Players in the mid-1990s to write a play using Door County's history and unique character as its major influence.
