WP Theater, by special arrangement with Segal NYC Productions, presents the Off-Broadway premiere of What We're Up Against, written by Pulitzer Prize nominee Theresa Rebeck (Mauritius, Seminar, NBC's 'Smash'), directed by Adrienne Campbell-Holt (Dry Land, Empathitrax).

Producers announced today that Academy, Emmy, and Tony Award-winning actress, Ellen Burstyn, Tony Award-winner Elizabeth Ashley, Maulik Pancholy ('30 Rock'), Raviv Ullman (Disney's 'Phil of the Future'), Jennifer Lim (Chinglish), and Maggie Lacey (Dividing the Estate) have joined the cast of the New York City premiere of Stan Zimmerman's Right Before I Go.

In this new production of the book, fans can relive the touching and at-times funny story chronicling the relationship between an old professor dying of ALS and his former student who visits him every Tuesday for the last class of Morrie's life. Gabriele Angieri (Morrie) is a Minneapolis based stage and screen actor and Brandon Ewald (Mitch) is a stage actor and choreographer.

As BroadwayWorld sadly reported yesterday, playwright, actor, author, screenwriter, and director Sam Shepard has passed away. Shepard, who had been ill with ALS for some time, died peacefully on July 27 at his home in Kentucky, surrounded by his children and sisters. He was 73 years old.
