The distant sound of Atlantic Ocean waves receive you when you enter the theatre at the Kransberg Arts Center for Salt, Root, and Roe by Tim Price, which is currently making its US premier with Upstream Theater in partnership with Stages Repertory of Houston. When the lights dim, you'll be transported to a small village on the northern coast of modern-day Pembrokeshire, the most westerly part of Wales. An exterior beach in the foreground; an interior wood-planked room filled with packing boxes, small furnishings, and textiles just beyond that; and on the back wall, an illustrated representation of this place - Anest and Iola's seaside cottage - all aptly set the stage for what is to come.

National Theatre Wales are delighted to announce an island of Ireland tour of Cotton Fingers, written by award-winning writer Rachel Trezise and starring Northern Irish actor, Amy Molloy. This timely, politically-charged production, written during the referendum to repeal the 8th amendment in Ireland in 2018, will tour to venues in Belfast, Derry~Londonderry, Dublin and Bray from 22 May until 8 June 2019, marking one year since the historic referendum took place.

Verb Ballets, Northeast Ohio's premiere contemporary ballet company, celebrates the life and work of Ian Horvath (1943-1990) on February 9, 2019 in an evening titled Dance Legacy: Celebrating the Life of Ian Horvath. The three-part performance will honor Horvath's impact on dance in Cleveland and will recognize his work as an AIDS advocate. Tragically, he lost his battle to AIDS at the age of 46.

Verb Ballets, Northeast Ohio's premiere contemporary ballet company, continues the celebration of the life and work of Ian Horvath (1943-1990) on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 2:00 pm in a matinee performance at the Akron-Summit County Public Library Auditorium. The performance will honor Horvath's impact on dance and will recognize his work as an AIDS advocate. Horvath was best known in Cleveland as a founder of the Cleveland Ballet and a former soloist with the Joffrey Ballet and American Ballet Theatre. Later, he was the Producing Director of the Jose Limon Dance Foundation. Tragically, he lost his battle to AIDS at the age of 46.

Join Verb Ballets on January 4, 2019 for Live @ Noon an exclusive working rehearsal with Margaret Mullin. Mullin, a renowned soloist with Pacific Northwest Ballet, received a prestigious fellowship from the Princess Grace Foundation. For the past three years, Verb Ballets has been working in partnership with dancer Mullin and Nel Shelby Productions to create a documentary film No Dominion: The Ian Horvath Story. Mullin is the director and producer of the upcoming documentary and will be in studio setting Ian Horvath's last work, No Dominion. Set to Sir William Walton's cello concerto, the work for an all-male cast is a reflection on Horvath's impending death from AIDS. No Dominion takes its title from the poem 'And Death Shall Have No Dominion,' by Dylan Thomas. Her arrival in Cleveland is in preparation for Verb Ballets celebration of the life and work of Ian Horvath on February 9, 2019.
