Exeter Northcott Theatre to Welcome UNDER MILK WOOD, Starring Owen Teale, April 29-May 3

Game of Thrones actor Owen Teale will star in director Terry Hands' new production of Under Milk Wood, which comes to the Exeter Northcott Theatre in April. The production marks the centenary of Dylan Thomas' birth, as well as the 60th anniversary since Under Milk Wood was first produced in Britain, as a radio play by the BBC, in 1954. A cast of Welsh actors also includes Torchwood actor Kai Owen and Steven Meo (The Fabulous Baker Boys). (more...)

Josefina Lopez's DETAINED IN THE DESERT to Play Four Upcoming Film Festivals

Josefina López, the critically acclaimed co-screenwriter of the film, Real Women Have Curves, and creator of the play that spanned the film, has a new movie titled, Detained in the Desert, which received its World Premiere at Edward James Olmos's 16th Annual Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival in October 2013, which will now bow in four additional film festivals over the next three months. The movie will be shown in the 9th Los Angeles Women's International Film Festival in Burbank, the 21st Annual San Diego Latino Film Festival, the 30th Chicago Latino Film Festival and the 11th Annual Reel Rasquache Art &Film Festival in Boyle Heights. Adelaide 'Fringe Legend' Guy Masterson, was due to premiere his new show, ANTHEM FOR A DOOMED YOUTH at the fringe next week, but personal circumstances forced him to withdraw... Rather than leaving an empty space at his venue, North Adelaide's newest hub, Live At Nine, Kevin Crease Studios, he is sending in his stead his very good friend - and Adelaide veteran, Bob Paisley in John Clancy's multi-award winning THE EVENT, last seen at the Fringe with David Calvitto in 2010 and winner of the Fringe Award for Best Performance.
