Blue collar rage and the shifting of America's self-image are at the heart of Lynn Nottage's 'Sweat,' opening at Pear Theatre in October. Rick Fisher, Executive Director of Heartland Men's Chorus (HMC), announced Monday their 34th season will again present three completely distinct concerts. All three performances include the show stopping productions for which HMC is known. All three concerts are created to change hearts and minds. However, each concert is also incredibly unique.

Rory O'Malley has been cast in the upcoming NBC single-camera comedy pilot "Like Magic," according to Variety.

The Geffen Playhouse Unscripted podcast has been renewed for a third season with PodcastOne, the nation's largest advertiser-supported podcast network, it was announced today. In addition, Tony-nominated Rory O'Malley (Hamilton, The Book of Mormon) has joined the podcast series as its new full-time host.

Pear Theatre continues its season with the World Premiere of "Sojourn" by playwright Evan Kokkila-Schumacher, directed by Caroline Clark. Set in the later half of this century, "Sojourn" follows two astronauts on a life-long mission into the cosmos. "Sojourn" previews on March 14, with press and Opening Night on Friday, March 15 (followed by a champagne gala).
