The OBIE-winning HERE has announced additional programming for its HERE THERE EVERYWHERE fall 2020 season. HERE's expanded online programming continues to innovate with the serial space opera, Only You Will Recognize The Signal, featuring a libretto by Rob Handel, music by Kamala Sankaram, and direction by Kristin Marting.

Piffaro, Philadelphia's Renaissance Wind Band, has elected to forgo live concerts in the 20/21 season. However, executive director Shannon Cline sees a silver lining to presenting concerts online.

Florida Studio Theatre (FST) announces that vocalist Ariel Blue will perform this weekend for diners at FST's Green Room Cafe & Bar. The OBIE-winning HERE, has announced HERE THERE EVERYWHERE, a return to live in-person events along with expanded online programming for its summer and fall 2020 season, featuring original relevant works by more than 235 diverse artists. A centerpiece of the season is #stillHERE: IRL, an adventurous new series that reimagines the live experience.

Today, BET Networks announced new original scripted miniseries 'Uptown.' The three-part television event will tell the comprehensive story of Andre Harrell's iconic New York City record label, Uptown Records. Launched in 1986, following a joint venture deal with MCA, Andre Harrell's Uptown Records played a vital role in the careers of some of the most influential voices in hip hop, soul and R&B, including Heavy D & The Boyz, Russell Simmons, Lyor Cohen, Mary J. Blige, Jodeci, Father MC, Al B. Sure, Christopher Williams, Teddy Riley, Notorious B.I.G., Sean 'Diddy' Combs and many more. Each gripping episode will take viewers from the label's inception to current day, featuring the music and powerhouse hit-makers that helped mold what would come to be known as the Uptown 'sound' and define a musical era that would impact generations to come. CUNNINGHAM, a 3D cinematic experience about legendary American choreographer Merce Cunningham is set to be released in cinemas across the UK and Ireland from 13 March 2020, following the Merce Cunningham centenary this year.

The actors for #StudioREP inaugural season have been confirmed. Olivier nominated and West End Star David Burt will join the company of six which also includes Dave Fishley, Alice Bailey Johnson, Imogen Smith and Christopher Williams. Eastern Music Festival (EMF), a nationally recognized music festival and summer educational program based in the heart of North Carolina, announces five new faculty members for the 2019 season. Christopher Caudill (horn), Netanel Draiblate (violin), and Demondrae Thurman (euphonium) will join the faculty this month. Also joining on one-year contracts are Yolanda Bruno (violin) and Erin Zehngut (violin), both serving for EMF faculty that are on-leave this season.
