The Drama League announced today the casting for DirectorFest 2021, a multi-week festival celebrating the art of stage directing and honoring the service organization’s 2020-21 Directors Project class of New York and Classical Fellowship recipients.

Today, RED BULL THEATER announced that it is partnering independently with the Drama League and WP Theater on two events inspired by John Lyly's play, Gallathea, an Elizabethan play that was premiered in 1588 by the boy players of the Children of Paul's.

YALE REPERTORY THEATRE (James Bundy, Artistic Director; Victoria Nolan, Managing Director) presents CYMBELINE by William Shakespeare, directed by Evan Yionoulis, March 25-April 16 at the University Theatre (222 York Street). Opening Night is Thursday, March 31.

Join the cast of ShakesBEER as they head to historic Stone Street for the final pub crawl of the 2015 season on Saturday, November 7th and Saturday, November 14th.

Producers ARS Productions and Adriel Saporta have announced that Christopher Michael McFarland replaces previously announced John Ellison Conlee in the NYC premiere of SPACEBAR: A BROADWAY PLAY BY KYLE SUGARMAN, written by Michael Mitnick and directed by Maggie Burrows. Mr. Conlee had to leave the cast due to booking a recurring role in a television series.

New York's The Acting Company, a TONY Honors Recipient for Excellence in Theater, brings Shakespeare's lushly lighthearted comedy As You Like It to The New Victory Theater as part of their 40th anniversary season. Directed by Pig Iron Theatre Company's Dan Rothenberg, As You Like It by The Acting Company will make its New York Premiere at The New Victory Theater, 209 West 42nd Street, from tonight, March 1-10, 2013.
