Time is running out to vote for for the 2021 BroadwayWorld Chicago Awards! The 2021 Regional Awards honor productions which had their first performance between October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2021.

Trevor: The Musical will play its final performance on Sunday, January 2, 2022, following 76 performances at Stage 42 (422 West 42nd Street, near 9th Avenue).

Porchlight Music Theatre has announced Chicago Sings Stephen Sondheim, its annual fundraising concert,  Monday, May 23, 2022 at the Museum of Contemporary Art, 220 E. Chicago Ave.

One of Farmers Alley Theatre’s most popular and requested shows is coming back to West Michigan, this time with a festive twist when MURDER FOR TWO: HOLIDAY EDITION premiers November 19th-December 12th.

Trevor: The Musical is about a charming 13-year-old force of nature with a vivid imagination. As he deals with becoming a teenager, Trevor struggles to navigate his own identity and determine how he fits in a challenging world.

Beginning with tonight’s first preview, a limited number of $35 digital lottery tickets will be available for each performance of Trevor: The Musical, now playing at Stage 42 (442 West 42nd Street, near 9th Avenue). The show will officially open on Wednesday, November 10.

13-year-old Holden William Hagelberger from Sugarland, Texas has been cast in the role of “Trevor” in Trevor: The Musical, following a process which included a national virtual casting call with over 1300 submissions.  Learn all about it here. 

Nicolas King has been hard at work, and the work is paying off for him and his fans.

Pazdernik’s resume includes leadership and artistic roles with many Chicago companies. He will be leaving a staff position with Porchlight Music Theatre, where he has been Producing Associate and Company Manager as well as a frequent director for PORCHLIGHT REVISITS, Porchlight Music Theatre's lost musicals series.

Remy Bumppo Theatre Company has announced Marti Lyons as artistic director. Lyons assumes this role effective immediately. Lyons was selected after a national search led by ALJP Consulting, with a search committee composed of select staff, Core Ensemble members, Board members and representatives of the local community.

Theatre By The Sea's owner and producer Bill Hanney, who recently announced the reopening of Theatre By The Sea after a 21-month intermission, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, will open the 2021 Summer Concert Series with Rhode Island's own Nicolas King on Friday, July 9 and Saturday, July 10 at 8:00 pm.
