The Palace Theater like many businesses was forced to close its doors temporarily in response to the Executive order from Governor Lamont in response to the Covid 19 Pandemic. As a result, the unforeseen impact of this health crisis has altered the timing of many of the season's remaining programs and events that had been scheduled.

The Palace Theater management in accordance with the Governor's directive to prohibit all gatherings of 50 people or more, has postponed all events and activities through April 30th.

Charles Esten, known best for his role as Deacon Claybourne on the hit television show NASHVILLE, will appear March 28 at the Palace Theater in Waterbury, along with his band SIX WIRE. Tickets, which go on sale Friday February 7 and range from $55 - $65, with a limited number of $80 seats, that include a Meet and Greet, can be purchased at the Palace Theater's Box Office, 100 East Main Street, Waterbury, on-line at palacetheaterct.org or by calling 203.346.2000.

Today, CMT announced it will air the exclusive broadcast premiere of 'BLUEBIRD,' the critically-acclaimed feature film documenting the 35-year history of The Bluebird Cafe, Nashville's accidental landmark that altered the course of music history. 'BLUEBIRD' will premiere Wednesday, February 19th at 8 PM ET/PT and will receive an encore screening on Friday, February 21st at 12PM ET/PT on CMT.

BLUEBIRD, a new documentary hitting theaters on November 15th from Cleopatra Entertainment, has released it's first trailer and poster. Directed by Brian A. Loschiavo, this film tells the origin stories of megastars like Taylor Swift, Kacey Musgraves, and Garth Brooks while following emerging singer-songwriters as they chase their dreams inside The Bluebird Cafe, Nashville's accidental landmark that has altered the course of music history.

Musicians On Call (MOC), a nonprofit that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities, is celebrating 20 years of delivering the healing power of music with a star-studded night in the city where it all began – New York! MOC's 20th Anniversary Celebration Presented by Citi will be held on Tuesday, November 19th at Edison Ballroom and will feature performances by multi-platinum singer/songwriter Gavin DeGraw and singer/songwriter and star of TV's NASHVILLE Charles Esten. Throughout the event the organization will recognize its many milestones from the past two decades and will present Lifetime Achievement Awards to MOC Co-Founders Michael Solomon and Vivek J. Tiwary.
