Tony Award nominee, Jarrod Spector, will debut his new solo show, (con)artist, this April and treat fans to a special night of music and storytelling -- diving into his career journey and the artists that have influenced his path. From his early days on Star Search to his years on stage portraying some of music's biggest superstars, Spector will share his secrets and shed light on the biggest discovery of all - finding his own voice along the way.

The McCallum Theatre announced today its new lineup for the 2019-2020 season, continuing to present the finest world-class artists and entertainers for Coachella Valley audiences.  The new season includes McCallum debuts, returning favorites, iconic superstars, family-friendly entertainment and holiday cheer, among so much more. A CHRISTMAS STORY, WAITRESS and THE PLAY THAT GOES WORING are among the many Broadway offerings in what looks to be the most stellar season in McCallum history.

Midnight Theatricals will present the World Premiere of safeword. written and directed by S. Asher Gelman. Performances will begin at The American Theatre of Actors (314 W 54 Street, NYC) on Thursday, April 11, 2019 and open on Thursday, April 25, 2019, running through July 7, 2019

Andrew Rannells and Kelli Barrett will join Tony Award nominee Jarrod Spector as special guest stars in for the one-night-only premiere of Spector's newest solo show (con)artist at Sony Hall (235 West 46th Street) on Monday, April 15 at 8:00 PM.

Sony/ATV Music Publishing has signed a worldwide deal with Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock from the multi-chart-topping group Little Mix through its new joint venture TwentySeven Music Publishing with seasoned industry executive Barry Weiss and songwriter Jenna Andrews.

BMI (Broadcast Music, Inc.) is pleased to celebrate an evening of exceptional songwriting at its 67th Annual BMI Pop Awards.  In an event 22 years in the making,Sting, already a BMI Icon, will be honored for his enduring hit single “Every Breath You Take,” which has become the Most Performed Song in BMI's catalog of over 14 million musical works.  The award ceremony will also celebrate multi-platinum GRAMMY Award-winning band Imagine Dragons with the BMI President's Award, and Martin Bandier, legendary music publishing executive, will be named a BMI Icon, the first time a music publisher has been given this honor. The private event will be hosted by BMI President and CEO Mike O'Neill and Vice President Worldwide Creative Barbara Cane and will take place on Tuesday, May 14th at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA. 

Broadway in Indianapolis and Sun King Brewery announce the creation of Ba-Na-Na-Na (Do-Do-Do-Do-Do), a Sun King seasonal beer to celebrate the upcoming engagement of WAITRESS in Indianapolis! Ba-Na-Na-Na (Do-Do-Do-Do-Do) will be available at all Sun King locations beginning April 19 with a special Tapping Event at Sun King Indianapolis Brewery and Tap Room (135 North College Avenue) on April 18 beginning at 6 pm.

This past September, Lauren Class Schneider produced a staged reading of Reginald Rose's '12 Angry Men' performed by 12 Broadway women, followed by voter registration facilitated by the League of Women Voters, to allow audience members the chance to register or update their registration.

Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul have announced the release of their eagerly awaited new album. SUMMER OF SORCERY, the legendary rock 'n' rollers first album of new material, arrives May 3 via Wicked Cool/UMe. SUMMER OF SORCERY is available for pre-order now. The album will be released on CD, digitally and on vinyl as double LP on 180-gram black vinyl. In conjunction with the new album, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will bring his band to the State Theatre on Friday, July 26th.

Hartford Stage announced today the cast and creative team for the world premiere musical The Flamingo Kid, helmed by Artistic Director Darko Tresnjak. The musical, which closes the 2018-19 season, boasts an impressive cast of Broadway and regional theatre talent. Performances for The Flamingo Kid begin on Thursday, May 9, and run through Sunday, June 9.

Broadway Unlocked founder Jessica Ryan announced today the talent lineup for the seventh annual #giveback concert slated for Sunday, April 7, 2019 at 7.30pm at The Jerome L. Greene Performance Space (44 Charlton Street).  A VIP Reception begins at 6pm, doors open at 6.45pm.  The evening will feature new and original work, including a host of debut songs inspired by the writings of survivors who have found help at CVTC.

Today The Cape Playhouse announced principal casting for the theatre's historic 93rd season, which includes an impressive list of Broadway and television stars.
