This morning, the Broadway reopening cast of Come From Away performed on Good Morning America live from Times Square to celebrate their upcoming return to the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre and the release of the show's proshot, now available to stream on AppleTV Plus!

Come From Away returns to Broadway at the Gerald Schoenfeld on September 21. Catch a sneak peek into the rehearsal room with the reopening cast as they perform the opening number 'Welcome to the Rock' ahead of the show's reopening.

The live performance of “Come From Away' was filmed at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre this past May in New York City, where the Broadway production is staged, for an audience that included 9/11 survivors and front-line workers; and, employed over 200 people including members of the Broadway crew, staff and creative teams.

On September 10, 2021, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of September 11, 2001, Apple TV+ is debuting a stunning stage capture of Broadway’s COME FROM AWAY. Filmed live at Broadway’s Gerald Schoenfeld Theater in May 2021, the film is both a celebration of humanity’s penchant for kindness in the face of adversity and Broadway’s attempt to make a post-pandemic related lockdown return to vibrancy.

In September 2021, COME FROM AWAY will honor what was lost and commemorate what was found in Gander, Newfoundland 20 years ago and invites audiences to join the show as they reflect, honor and remember.

Gerard Canonico (Be More Chill), Jessie Hooker-Bailey (Waitress), Arielle Jacobs (Aladdin, In the Heights), Andrew Kober (She Loves Me, Hair), Shereen Pimentel (West Side Story), Presley Ryan (Beetlejuice), Caesar Samayoa (Come From Away), Carrie St. Louis (Wicked), and Dani Wade (Mean Girls) join the cast also featuring Louderman, Hannah Kloepfer, Matt Copley, and Stephen Coakley. 

'Come From Away' tells the story of 7,000 people stranded in the small town of Gander, Newfoundland after all flights into the US are grounded on September 11, 2001.

Apple Original Films announced today that the filmed version of the Tony & Olivier Award-winning hit musical “Come From Away” will premiere globally on Apple TV+ on Friday, September 10. “Come From Away” is directed by Tony Award-winner Christopher Ashley, and stars an ensemble cast led by members of the Broadway show.

One Night Only presents Come From Away is the fourth event in the virtual series, which reunites cast and creatives from hit musicals. The one-off exclusive events enable fans to experience said shows on a deeper level and even allow them to interact with other audience members and meet the special guests in a virtual stage door setting.

'Whatcha Doin?” is a fully student-produced podcast series that strives to connect current theatre industry professionals with future theatre industry professionals by way of interviews accessible as both YouTube and Spotify podcast listings.

On Saturday 19th December at 7:30pm (GMT) SimG Productions and Musical Theatre Radio's fourth 'One Night Only' Reunion event will reunite the writers and creatives from the International hit musical 'Come From Away', alongside actors who have appeared in productions across the globe.   

Come From Away is partnering with The Loukoumi Foundation for their virtual Make a Difference Day on October 24th! 

Children worldwide will celebrate Make A Difference With Loukoumi Day in partnership with the award winning musical Come From Away on October 24th with a Virtual Good Deed Event followed by in person Good Deed car caravans in 10 cities around the globe.
