Anything can happen when it comes to live theatre. That was proven on Friday night when a performance of Once On This Island was stopped mid-song to help a struggling audience member, according to Page Six.

It was announced today that the Tony Award winning Best Revival will close on Sunday, January 6, 2019. When it closes this production will have played 29 previews and 458 performances.

For The Record returns to The Wallis with their holiday show LOVE ACTUALLY LIVE December 4th through 31st. Headliners for this multi-media concert (backed by a 15-piece orchestra) include Rumer Willis, Steve Kazee, Kelley Jakle, Rex Smith and B. Slade. Love Actually Live, a multimedia-concert celebration of the soundtrack to one of the most beloved holiday movies of all time from the team behind Los Angeles' award-winning For The Record series, is featured this holiday season at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts from Tuesday, December 4, through Monday, December 31, 2018. Co-Produced by the Wallis Annenberg Center for Performing Arts, Shane Scheel and Siobhan O'Neill and inspired by the Universal Pictures/Working Title motion picture written by Richard Curtis, this world-premiere production, presented by special arrangement with Universal Theatrical Group, transforms The Wallis' Bram Goldsmith Theater into a giant, immersive, cinema for the modern day. The production, a one-of-a-kind presentation is performed live by an all-star cast and 15-piece orchestra, includes songs from the hit film, including "Christmas Is All Around," "The Trouble with Love Is," and "Both Sides Now.'

The producers of Once On This Island announced today that in honor of one year on Broadway they will celebrate their fans during the week of October 29. Once On This Island announced today that the Grammy Award-winning artist and Destiny's Child singer Michelle T. Williams will return to Broadway as Erzulie in the Tony Award winning Best Revival starting Friday, November 30. Michelle T. Williams will play the role through Sunday, June 2, 2019.

Even the celebrities had a tough time getting a ticket for their shows at Feinstein's/54 Below. Jana Robbins and Haley Swindal's closing night's performance actually seemed more like an opening night with all the notability in the room. Hailey Kilgore will return to role of Ti Moune in Once On This Island tonight, Tuesday, September 4. Hailey has been out of the show due to a foot injury.

The Actors Fund announced today that Once On This Island has added a Special Benefit Performance for The Actors Fund. This benefit performance will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 8:00 pm at the Circle in the Square Theatre (235 West 50th Street).

Actors' Equity Association has announced that Once on This Island will receive the eleventh annual Extraordinary Excellence in Diversity on Broadway Award for the 2017-2018 season. Presented by Equity's National Equal Employment Opportunity Committee, the Extraordinary Excellence in Diversity on Broadway Award honors shows that exemplify and promote the union's founding principles of diversity, inclusion, non-traditional casting and equal opportunity for all who work in the theatre.

2019 marks the 25th anniversary of Quentin Tarantino's masterpiece, Pulp Fiction. To celebrate, Hollywood's raucous concert troupe, 'For The Record,' is taking their show on the road. Just in time for their eight-year anniversary, For The Record returned to The Sorting Room at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts to reinvent the hit that started it all. For The Record: Tarantino.

Original company member Loren Lott will take over the role of Ti Moune while Hailey Kilgore recovers from a foot injury.

The Tony-winning production of Once On This Island just welcomed Darlesia Cearcy, who replaces Lea Salonga as Erzulie, as well as Merle Dandridge, who returns to the production to play Papa Ge. Check out a first look at the duo in action below!
