Musicals at Richter (MAR), celebrating its 39th season as the longest-running outdoor theater in Connecticut, continues 'The Music Man,' playing July 28 to August 12. Featuring a live band and a cast of talented local actors, performances take place outdoors under the stars at the Richter Arts Center, 100 Aunt Hack Road, in Danbury, adjacent to the Richter Park Public Golf Course, just off I-84, Exit 2.

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Gerald Arpino, one of the 20th century's most influential artists, The Gerald Arpino Foundation presents the Arpino Chicago Centennial Celebration as the culminating event of a multiyear salute to this extraordinary choreographer and co-founder/director of The Joffrey Ballet. Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre’s (PBT) long-time rehearsal director, Marianna Tcherkassky, has announced her retirement at the end of the 2022-2023 season. Tcherkassky has been a rehearsal director at PBT for 26 years. Prior to PBT, Tcherkassky danced with American Ballet Theatre (ABT) for 26 years, 20 of which as a principal dancer.
